Running Greeting Card - Style Diaries*Limited Edition* Go For It
Looking for inspiration? Check this out this Style Diaries story...
cards dedicated to connecting you with real women and their favorite fashion pieces.
Fashion pieces donated by real women are illustrated by Remanents designer Monica Anderson and die cut. The actual fabric from the donated piece is cut and inserted into the card for a stunning, multi-dimensional look. To make these cards even more unique, there is a diary entry on the back revealing where the piece had been and what it meant to its owner. This card uses Monica's favorite running shirt.
On the front of the card is "The only way to define your limits is to go beyond them-anonymous" and "Go for it!."
The diary entry on the back of this running outfit is...
"I am not really sure why we (my 'running friends' and I) started running so much. First it was 10 miles, then a half marathon, a marathon and finally the Boston Marathon. We learned a few things along the road, like never run in cotton on a long run. Micro-fiber became our friend and I became obsessed with fashionable running apparel. I found this comfortable micro-fiber shirt that soon became my favorite. This was my choice for the Boston Marathon. It was hot early in the race and I had to tie it around my waist as I could not bear to toss this one into the crowd. We did the distance together and in some ways this shirt is a metaphor for my idea of a good running friend: comfortable, warm, breathable, and there sweating along with me making the road ahead feel not quite so long
Each card is numbered and 20% of the online sales will be donated to the Global Fund for Women.
